Seven Magic Mountains is a public art installation that's about ten miles south of Las Vegas. It wasn't a stop we had planned for, but we love discovering quaint roadside attractions.
When I was a kid in my parents van on summer vacations, I was always pleading with them to stop at the giant dinosaur, Sasquatch, UFO, or a beautiful landscape so I could take pictures with my film camera. I would look back longingly at those coveted stops as we sped away in a hurry to some other destination. At the time, it felt like moments and memories lost or left behind.
Now, in our camper-van, my inner kid and I can stop at any roadside attraction and make as many pictures as we like.
